About Us
In the summer of 2014, Dan asked Juliana to show him the Boat People camps, knowing many Vietnamese fled to Hong Kong in the aftermath of the Vietnam War. Despite Juliana has lived in Hong Kong for almost all my life she couldn't, and she didn't even know where they are....

Like many Hong Kong people of her generation, Juliana‘s only memory of the refugee crisis is a Vietnamese language radio announcement, broadcasted in all public radio station in Hong Kong in the early 1990s, that discouraged refugees from entering Hong Kong. Hong Kong's collective amnesia of the largest humanitarian crisis happened in the colony drives them to look into the boat people camp further.

Juliana and Daniel are architectural researchers based in London and New York. They met in Hong Kong and have previously examined Hong Kong government pavilions after the 1967 riots.
